St. Ivalice pt. 1

Maxx whisled, and one of the moogle workers, come and handed him a chocobo, a gold one, with little more fluff than usual. "Well," He pats it on the back, and it lowers itself. "get on"

She eyed the chocobo, then awkwardly climbed on. She looked down at him. "It's fluffy!" She grinned and patted it's neck tenderly.

"Yep, specially breed and trained for first time riders." maxx jumped on the chocobo, behind her. "Ok, take your hands, and put them on the back, so it can get used to your touch, chocobos are very, and I mean very aggressive, and if they do not like you, or are not used to you, they will get you off, then try to peck out your eyes."

She grimmaced. "That wasn't a pretty mental image." She murmmerd and rested her hands on it's back. "I really don't want to be attacked by an angry Chocobo." She smiled at him over her shoulder. "Like this?" She asked motioning to her hands.

"Yes, now, feel for it to relax a bit, and as soon as you do, grab the reins," Maxx smiled.

She nodded and waited for it to relax then did as he said. She held onto the reins tightly. "Ok, now what do I do?" she asked nervously looking around slightly, then down at the chocobo.

"Ok, tug on them both, and it will start moving, the harder you tug, the faster it will go, then when you want to turn, tug on the side that you want to go. When you want to stop, loosen them up." Maxx smiled, "Well, thats the jist of it."

She smied backat him ad tud on the reins gently. "Thanks." She switched the reins to one hand and patted the Chocobo with the other. "There, there." She cooed sweetly leaning forward slightlyhodling onto the bird with her thighs.

Maxx grabs onto her waists so he does not fall off.

She looked at him and raised an eye brow. "Not trying to feel me up are you?" She teased turning the chocobo round and tugging a little harder.

Maxx laughed, "heh, if I was, you would know it!" He said aloud.

She laughed and tugged a little harder. "Well, so long as you keep your hands where they are you might get to keep them. Few people can get away with feeling me up." She tighted her grip with her legs so as not to fall.

"Ok, I will" He smiled. "So how do you like riding a chocobo? You have not even really tested out its speed."

"It's nice. Not like riding a horse. Though, I'm a bit afraid to test ot it's speed; wouldn't want you to fall off and get hurt now would we?" Her tone was mocking. "Hold on?" She asked preparing to yank the reins hard, holding onto them with both hands.

"Now this is what I am talking about," Maxx yelled and held onto her tighter.

She grinned and leaned forward more turning the Chocobo around sharply, causing her eye patch to fall off. "Wow, I haven't had this much fun in a long time."

"Well then, We should change that? Life is all about fun, and fun is all about doing something different!" Maxx said.

She nodded, sucking in a deep breath as she noticed her eye patch had fallen off. Her blond hair swept away from her other eye, revealing a huge scar, and the intire pupil and iris to be a light greyish blue. She cursed under her breath.

"What is that scar from?" Maxx asked.

She blinked then looked down, slowing the Chocobo down, seeing her eye patch. "I got it a year ago. Ganindorf had come to our ranch looking for something, and I tried fighting him." She said picking it up and putting it back. "I can't see out my right eye. It's the price I paid for not fallowing orders." She smiled at him. "It's the other reason I left."

"Oh, I see. I am sorry about that, maybe one day you can get it healed, with a infinite universe, there is infinite amount of possibilities." Maxx said, starting to hold her tight "Hopefully this is not a bad thing, me holding you so tight, and being so close."

She blushed. "I hope so." she muttered then looked at him, tilting her head to the side. "No, of coarse it's not." She said quietly.

Maxx smiled, and then looked up at the sun. "Oh, it seems that we better go drop off the chocobo, the stable owner might be curious as to what we are doing... err, with the chocobo still..." Maxx looks away a bit.

She chuckled and spurred the Chocobo back. She patted it one last time. "See you." She whispered against its fluffy feathers.

When Elita starts to slows down, Maxx jumps off, and leads the chocobo to the stables, and to the stable owner. "Here ya go, your chocobo, and now your debt is paid off! Thanks for everything though!" He looks over to Elita, and says, "So, what do you want to do now?"
